Next Generation of Golfers Finish Second Round at the Major Champions Invitational

ORLANDO, F.L. (March 7, 2019) – Round two at the second Major Champions Invitational hosted by Sir Nick Faldo (@NickFaldo006) finished today as the individual competition heated up. The tournament will conclude after 54 holes on March 8, 2019 at Bella Collina in Montverde, Florida.

In addition to each team competing for the lowest score, juniors are also competing for low-scoring male and female.

The team representing 2018 Women’s British Open Champion Georgia Hall took the lead at the end of the second round with a score of 19-under-par. The team’s score is comprised of the low three out of four individual scores. Team Hall is comprised of Annabell Fuller (16), Conor Gough (16), Lily May Humphreys (16), and Alexis Valenzuela (17).

Sixteen-year-old Andrew Goodman (Team Spieth, USA) is leading the male division at 12-under-par. Sixteen-year-old Conor Gough (Team Hall, England) is right behind at 11-under-par.

Sixteen-year-old Annabell Fuller (Team Hall, England) is leading the female division at 7-under-par. Fourteen-year-old Darae Chung (Team Annika, New Zealand) sits one back at 6-under-par.

This week, Sir Nick Faldo also announced a new partnership with the Saudi Golf Federation and the Major Champions Invitational. As the presenting sponsor, the Saudi Golf Federation will build on the momentum of this event and offer a platform for global expansion and an enhanced competitor experience.
