Created for the use of the club’s members and their guests, The Club at Bella Collina’s Spa and Salon offers a complete list of services from hair, hand and foot therapy to facial, massage and body treatments. The Spa itself occupies 5 treatment rooms including one dedicated to our luxurious couple’s suite with views overlooking Lake Sienna and Lake Apopka with picturesque landscaping. Anchored by a central courtyard punctuated with a tranquil rock fountain, the spa reflects Tuscany’s rustic beauty, charm and elegant simplicity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Health & Safety

Please inform your reservationist if you have high blood pressure, allergies, any physical ailments or disabilities, or if you are pregnant as these may affect your appointment. There are a few services that should be avoided during pregnancy, specifically the first trimester, but many that can be enjoyed.

For our male guests

We recommend our male guests to shave any facial hair prior to any facial treatments. This will ensure the maximum results are achieved.  Chemical peels however are not recommended for areas that are regularly shaven.

For our female guests

We do not recommend shaving your legs the day of your body treatment or pedicure services.  This is due to the health and safety of your skin when receiving treatments.

Children

 

For the protection of your children, the respect of other guests, and due to certain safety regulations, the Spa and Salon area is off limit to children without and appointment. Treatment rooms and the salon are environments filled with sharp instruments and equipment that reach temperatures of 45 degrees.  Keeping children safe is our first priority.  Children under the age of 12 receiving a service must not be left unattended during their visit.  This means they must be under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.  Under any circumstances is a child to be left unattended at any time during their service.
Pets

At The Spa we love animals, but unfortunately the spa and salon are not a safe environment for your pet.  There are many chemicals and objects that could be poisonous or dangerous if ingested.   According to Florida State Statutes is a violation of Florida State Health Code to allow any animal that is not a registered, licensed service animal on the premises.

Pre-Booking
  • Evenings and weekends are the most requested and busiest times for The Spa & Salon.  It is advised if those are the times that work best for you, please book as far in advance as possible. This insures that you get the dates and times you prefer. This is especially important during all holiday seasons.
  • It is important to know what services you wish to have booked when calling.  Our service menu and rate card are available on the main Spa page: www.bellacollina.com/spa.
  • Please have the following information available before booking: Guests preferred bathrobe size (we can accommodate up to 3X) and Shoe size.  It is our privilege to make sure that every guest has a robe and slipper that is comfortable upon their arrival.
  • Please note that The Club at Bella Collina exercises the right to implement a 20% service charge to any areas where service is performed (The Spa and The 19th Hole Restaurant).  This service charge is always based on retail value of service or good provided and includes gratuities for your service provider.
Booking Your Appointment
  • All services with The Spa and Salon at Bella Collina are by appointment only.  Same day bookings are occasionally available with inquiry.
  • Guests are always welcome to request a provider.  We have many very talented therapists and technicians here to provide you enjoyable treatments.  Feel free to ask for recommendations based on your needs when booking.
  • Your treatment and treatment time are blocked when booking according to the service’s needs. If a new guest, please allow extra time to compensate for any traffic and allow you to find our location.  Since we are a private club, guests will be required to show identification at the guard gate upon entering the property.  Once past our gate, it will take approximately 10 minutes to arrive at The Spa. Your appointment time is the time your service should begin.
  • Please arrive no later than 20 minutes before your appointment time if receiving spa services, as you will be required to fill out paperwork for your therapist, before you can begin your service.  Arriving late deprives you of your reserved service time and could result in the service time being abbreviated or a complete rescheduling of your service.
  • It is essential that your schedule remains the same in order that we may provide you with the best service.  Last minute adjustments in your schedule can alter the availability of any remaining services you may have booked.  The Spa reserves the right to make any adjustments necessary to a guest’s booking to assist in accommodating the schedule as a whole.  The Spa will always contact the guest if the adjustments made may affect your reservation.
Group Bookings
  • The Spa and Salon welcome group bookings. We consider a group booking to be 4 or more guests.   It is requested for all group bookings to reserve your appointments 3-4 weeks in advance.   As always appointment times are based on availability.
  • The Spa requires 1 week’s notification of cancellation for all group bookings to avoid any charges. All reservations for group bookings will require a credit card number be placed on file.
  • Dependent on the size of your party and the amount of appointments booked, a deposit may be required.
Cancellation / No Show Policy
  • To provide better service, open schedules to guests needing appointments, and to be respectful to our service providers, we ask that you provide 24 hours advance notice of any cancellations to your services.
  • Guests failing to cancel an appointment within the 24 hour guideline will be subject to a 50% charge of their total services booked at retail value.   We ask that you please consider this when booking your appointment.  Credit card information is required at booking.  For your convenience, all appointments are confirmed by phone prior to service.
  • Failing to arrive for your booked appointment and have not called to reschedule or cancel, the credit card on file will be charged 100% of the service booked for that day.  Although we do understand that emergencies come up, all providers are paid by service and otherwise would not get paid when appointments do not show up. We ask you to please value their time. We would be happy to reschedule your appointment.  We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
Arriving for Services
The Spa and Salon is located directly across from the main clubhouse doors near the parking lots, in front of the Atrium fountain.
Dress Code – Being a Members Country Club, we do require all members and visitors on property to adhere to a dress code.  Please follow these guidelines:
  • Denim and camouflage pants of any style and color shall not be worn on Club grounds.
  • Flip-flop shoes of any style shall not be worn inside any club facility, except in shower or wet areas.
  • Hats shall be removed while indoors, except in the locker room areas, including the men’s grill and card room.  Hats shall not be worn backwards.
  • Women shall not wear tube tops, halter tops, spaghetti strap tops or spandex clothing on Club grounds.
  • Shorts and skirts shall be no more than 4 inches above the knee.  Anything shorter is not acceptable.
  • Exercise clothes shall not be worn on club grounds with the exception they may be worn only in areas such as the fitness center, locker room areas, and ladies’ lounge.
  • Items such as bathrobes and swimsuits are restricted to worn only in designated areas
Paperwork

All guests receiving spa services will be required to fill out a health intake form and waiver upon arrival.  This intake form is effective for 1 year from the original month signed.  If you are requested to fill out a new intake upon a returning visit, please know it is due to one of the following: Original date has expired, waiver was not signed, or waiver was not dated. All expired waivers are shredded to protect the privacy of our guests.

Spa Locker
Every guest who is receiving spa treatments will be issued a key to a locker in which to store their personal effects.  In each locker is a Bella Collina robe and slippers to use during your visit with us. It is requested that all valuables and cell phones be locked up securely in your locker.
  • Baskets located in each locker room are available to dispose of used robes and slippers.
  • Spa lockers are only for the use of Spa guests during their visit with the Spa. All property is to be removed upon completion of your visit at The Spa to allow that locker to be restocked for a following guest.
  • It is the guests’ responsibility to return their locker key to the front desk following their appointment. Lost or stolen keys will result in a $5 charge to the credit card on file for replacement.
Cell Phones

The Spa and Salon requests our guests to refrain from cell phone usage.  This is an area that needs to be peaceful and relaxing.  It is out of respect of your services, service provider, and the service of others to please save all phone conversations for outside of the spa.

Accompanying Guests

The Spa and Salon has limited seating available and the majority of our guest are dressed minimally in robes with slippers. We want to make sure our Spa patrons have places to si t and relax during their visit comfortably.  If you have a others who are accompanying your visit but not receiving services, we kindly ask that your guest wait for you in our 19th Hole restaurant, or Main Clubhouse.

Amenities
As a Member’s club there are restricted areas where non-members are not permitted. Please refer to the list below:
Spa: The Spa and Salon are available to Members and Non-members by appointment only.  Members are at times offered special pricing on services and admittance to Spa events that Non-members are not.
Ladies Golf Locker Room:  This area is a Member’s only facility and may only be used if you are a guest of a member.  The registered member must accompany their guest and have their member card available. This area contains a lounge, television, fireplace, dining area (if service is available), steam showers and hammered copper soaking tubs.
19th Hole: Our on property restaurant boasts a variety of selections from a constantly evolving menu.  All items served are made fresh to order and prepared on property.  Any guest with a spa booking is encouraged to visit our restaurant.  Spa appointment or Tee-time required for dining.
Fitness Center: The Club at Bella Collina introduced its new fitness facility in March 2014.  A full fitness center complete with aerobics training room, full weights and cardiovascular equipment. Open and private fitness classes are available as listed in the fitness center.  This is a restricted area for Members only and must have a Golf or Sports membership card to enter.
Pool: The pool and whirlpool are beyond beautiful is located next to the fitness center near the Grand Fountain.  This is a restricted facility to Golf and Sports members.  However, a Social member or visitor may be granted a day pass to the pool when they spend $100+ per person on Spa services at The Club (does not include retail items or service charge).  As a restricted area there are no exceptions otherwise.  Pool passes are distributed following payment of your spa services and is valid for the entire day of your visit.  Pool pass is required.
